I have been an avid animal lover since childhood, and it's no surprise that the main character in my book, Amberly, the fairy with a disabled wing, is as well!
Not only do I love animals, but I also love the passionate people who dedicate their lives to helping homeless pets. As a supporter of animal rescue, I am pleased to announce the second annual fundraising event, Furbaby LoveFest in Paradise, benefiting Infinite Love Animal Rescue.
I am thrilled to have donated a copy of my book, Amberly and the Secret of the Fairy Warriors, and a few doggie goodies to the Furbaby Lovefest in Paradise's raffle! All proceeds raised by the raffle will go directly to Infinite Love Animal Rescue.
The complimentary event will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Gardena City Hall lawn (outdoor) in Gardena from 1 pm to 5 pm. The event will be providing low-cost services, entertainment, and education.
Infinite Love Animal Rescue is an organization that was founded by visionary and long-time friend, KANDACE KUWAHARA. With years of marketing and design experience in the corporate world, Kandace’s entrepreneurial spirit and love for animals could not be put on the back burner any longer.
In 2017, Kandace launched her own independent animal rescue organization, Infinite Love Animal Rescue.
As Founder and Visionary, Kandace is fully committed to spreading the message of respect and compassion for all animals.

I had the honor of working with Kandace several years ago at SpcaLA, and I was instantly inspired by her great passion for helping animals in need. When Kandace mentioned to me that she wanted to start her own animal rescue years ago, I knew that she would accomplish her goal. She not only rescues pets in need, but she also educates adults and children about the importance of pet care and valuing all animals.
