I’m thrilled to share my new brand logo with you today! I am so excited about WhimziePop Empowerment and the special impact I know it’s going to make! As a social authorpreneur and middle-grade writer, I’ve dedicated my work to empowering tween girls and LGBTQ+ youth. With WhimziePop Empowerment expressive writing activities, and everything I am learning as a member of the Girlife Collective, founded by Melody Pourmoradi, I will be leading girls empowerment workshops that combine expressive writing and empowering craft workshops to boost confidence and foster personal growth. I will also host expressive writing workshops called "Pauper's Poets," for LGBTQ+ youth.
One of the core missions of WhimziePop Empowerment is to provide enriching opportunities for kids in low-income neighborhoods. By channeling a portion of workshop ticket sales into free sessions for underserved communities and donating book sale proceeds to charities and individuals in need, I’m committed to making a real difference What makes WhimziePop Empowerment truly unique is my holistic approach to empowerment. I blend creative writing and empowering crafts with a deep-seated commitment to giving back, setting WhimziePop Empowerment apart in the realm of youth development.
As an author, my approach goes beyond storytelling. I leverage my work to support meaningful causes, and offer free workshops, using my writing as a tool for change. My journey with Meniere’s Disease throughout my childhood and young adulthood, which brought severe dizziness and later hearing loss, has deeply influenced my mission to help children build the confidence I lacked during my own childhood.
With my background in English, Journalism, and Child Development, I bring a blend of creativity, empathy, and social responsibility to everything I do. I’m excited to continue making a positive impact and empowering those who need it most.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
Warmly,
Gina Vallance
