I am so excited to announce that I will be signing books at the Orange County Children's Book Festival Sunday, October 2, 2022!
My middle-grade novel, Amberly and the Secret of the Fairy Warriors is about a disabled fairy who overcomes the odds despite her inability to fly. Throughout the novel, Amberly must learn embrace her own unique abilities despite the anger and frustration she feels about her tiny paralyzed wing that prevents her from flying.
Once she is forced to face the bullies in her life, and change her thoughts about her disabled wing by thinking more positively about herself, she is then able to move closer to achieving her goal.
As a middle grade fantasy fiction writer, my passion is inspiring girls to embrace their uniqueness, stand tall against bullies, and use creative expression to persevere.
